My Top 15 Favorite Episodes of Transformers Prime

Description

For long time watchers of mine, it might come to a shock that I'm a fan of Transformers, yeah I might of brought it up every now and then and I haven't been too expressive of my love for the franchise but I am, and it also might be a shock that my favorite incarnation of the series is the Prime cartoon that ended in 2013, but I am and blatant sarcasm aside lets get started, I was challenged by :iconjefimusprime: to do my own top 15 list of my personal favorite episodes so here you go Jefimus

15. Predatory: A great introduction to my favorite homicidal spider lady with a sexy voice, Arachnid, as well as a great episode for character development for Arcee and the episode that made Jack my favorite human character when he BLEW UP ARACHNID'S SHIP! if Sam Whitwicky from Bayformers was in that situation he'd probably scream like the bitch that he is while Arachnid impales him, but enough about my sexual fantasies lets move on

14. Partners: Another episode that focuses on Arcee mostly along with Starscream, kicking off his character arc with him going on his own and soon realizing that he isn't cut out to lead, let alone he on his own, but that's another story, this episode also has Arachnid in it, which is always a plus for me (episodes like Armada can be counted as honorable mentions) and I busted out laughing when Starscream accidentally admitted to Arcee that he killed Cliffjumper when Cee mentioned that Arachnid killed her partner, man Jack better watch himself, Arcee's partners tend to come down with serious cases of dead if you haven't noticed

13. Convoy: It was the dark of the moon in the month of June, and a Kenwood's pulling logs......that's all of the song I know, but yeah this episode introduces one of my favorite villains from Transformers outside the Decepticons,  MECH, lead by Silas, and I love this episode because, it really shows that both the bots and human characters using some ingenuity from the bots swapping the DINGUS *snickers* onto a train, and Jack and Miko actually bridging in onto the train in order to try and guard the *snickers* DINGUS, okay who thought up that name?

12. The Human Factor: Silas is now inside Breakdown.....ew.....but slash fiction ideas aside, this was pretty neat, we a great moment with Bulkhead and Smokescreen both, and a creepy ending with Knockout hauling Silas into his lab for experiments.

11. Crisscross: Before Silas was put inside Breakdown's corpse, he and MECH teams up with Arachnid and kidnap Jack's mother, and at the end of the episode she's brought into Team Prime and teases us the idea of human X transformer romance by mentioning that she wore heels and everything, joking aside, another great episode with Arachnid, MECH, and Jack proving that he's not an idiot like main humans before him.

10. Thirst: The Decepticons fight and I shit you not, giant robot vampire zombies......you know for a show that does take itself seriously for the most part, it's always fun to see the writers have fun and give us an awesome episode like this, plus, hints of a Knockout X Starscream romance, and even if it's not cannon and Knockout betrayed Starscream in Predicons Rising, it's still a better love story than Twilight

09. Chain of Command: This was on Jefimus's list as well, along with The Human Factor, and I agree with him it was fun to see Miko beat Starscream in the Apex Armor

08. Toxicity: This episode really gets you in the feels, from Bulkhead talking about how he cares for Miko, in more of a father/daughter way so shut it shippers, to the heart to spark he and Fowler have over the com link, a great fight with Bulk and the Insecticon Hardshell, and an ending that made you want to see the next episode.

07. Rock Bottom: Another episode full of feels, character development, and it made me like Miko when she refused to leave Bulkhead's side, gotta give it to her, and the scene where Jack meets up with Megatron who tries to talk Jack into killing him, saying that Optimus Prime would of done it, of course Jack doesn't do it and it does leave off on that question if Optimus would have killed Megatron if given that chance

06. Hurt: The episode after Toxicity and damn did it not disappoint, Miko and Wheeljack both want revenge for Bulkhead and call out Hardshell, leading to a pretty cool fight between Wheeljack and Hardshell but the highlights were Miko killing Hardshell using the weapons on Wheeljack's ship, the Jackhammer, and Miko confessing that she doesn't feel any better after getting her revenge, which is a great message for kids that watched that episode, that revenge wouldn't be the answer and even if you got back at someone who wronged you or someone you loved, the pain wouldn't really go away, kudos TFP.

Now before I go to the top five, let me say this: Look at the top five, they're all multiparters, and with some tweaking for each of them, you can get a movie series that would of been so much better than the Michael Bay films, for many reasons, but the main two I'd like to bring up is that 1. it's actually about the Transformers, the human characters are the supporting characters, not the other way around, and 2. The human characters are actually likeable and are not annoying

05. Darkness Rising: A great kick off to the series and something tells be that this was supposed to be an animated movie for theatres but that idea was scrapped for two reasons, one being that the Bayformers were still being made, and two Star Wars tried that with the Clone Wars movie and it didn't do too well in the box office, which is a shame because like I said in my little rant this would of been a way better movie than all four of the Michael Bay films combined.

04. Deadlock: The series finale and it doesn't disappoint, we have Megatron kicking the shit out of Predaking, an epic fight between Optimus and Megatron, Jack, Miko and Raf tricking Soundwave into the Shadowzone, and Bumblebee dying coming back to life, regaining his voice, and killing Megatron, WOW! I was at the edge of my seat the whole way.

03. Darkmout, NV-Rebellion: After a devastating defeat by the Decepticons, the Autobots are scattered and have to regroup to take out the cons, and the newly arrived Shockwave with his Predacon, ending with Optimus Prime FLYING in to save the day and kicking the shit out of Megatron.

02. One Shall Fall-Orion Pax pt2: The Season one finale and Season two opening, this was our first taste of how this show was gonna work with each season taking up right where the last left off, which is only just now becoming a thing with cartoons these days, yeah Avatar the Last Airbender did it but only with Prime and the shows that followed like the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and Adventure Time do we really see this happen

01. Regeneration/Our Darkest Hour: If you haven't see these two episodes yet, I'm not gonna spoil them for you, you have to see them for yourself, and the ending for both parts, made me shit myself, they were such jaw droppers
