Really Josh Trank? Sue Storm is either a scientist or a slutty secretary? I'd ask you what comics you read that had Sue act like either of those things but you admit yourself that you want to ignore the comics as much as possible, Sue Storm is one of the more subtly drawn and written women in comics, yeah she usually wears a skin tight jump suit but compared to most outfits female superheroes wear, she's pretty conservative not to mention that Sue is more or less the heart of the team, she's the one who brings the team together when they're fighting, she's a loving mother to both her son and daughter, she brings Reed down to earth when he gets caught up in his experiments, and hell she even made Namor the Submariner become a good guy, all of those things don't really scream "slut" wait, is it because Sue had other love interests in the comics? Newsflash to the guy who wants to make this movie "realistic" people usually have more than one relationship in their lives before they settle and I don't think I've seen a comic or heard of one where Sue has an affair behind Reed's back nor in any of the other incarnations of the Fantastic Four.

And another thing Trank said, "The last movie had a similar 'cartoonish' tone that most superhero movies have today" you mean the cartoonish movies that are going to kick your ass in the box office and reviews Josh? I love how people who defend this movie like to act like the reasons the last two Fantastic Four movies failed was because of the tone and not the bad writing, the poor representation of Doctor Doom and Galactus, or the fact they casted Jessica "I cant act to save my life" Alba as Sue Storm, yeah the fact that the studio wanted to go for a fun action/comedy was the reason those movies failed and that's why we should make this new Fantastic Four into Chronicle 2, which after reading the plot synopsis and watching the trailer again, that's kind of what it is, a group of friends get super powers, one of them goes evil and causes mayhem and the rest of the group has to stop him, that's the plot.

And the final thing, which was not in this interview I want to bring up is that in another interview Josh Trank had, he said that he wanted to make this new Fantastic Four movie akin to a David Cronanburg (I butchered the last name sorry) movie, that's kind of pretentious don't you think, Josh only directed two movies before Fantastic Four, and people are only really talking about one of them and that's Chronicle which is what this movie is more than likely going to be, other than that, the nerve that for a guy who only made two movies and is still pretty young by director standards wants to compare himself to such great directors in the sci-fi genre, that alone wants me to see this movie fail just to give this pretentious fuckwit a slice of humble pie.

Now if you still want to see this movie, I respect that, though might I suggest that you wait till the blue ray or DVD comes out or if you are on the fence or are expecting to hate this movie just torrent it, don't give this guy any of your money.
