So.....The Fantastic Four Trailer

Or as the movie wants to be called the Fant[4]stic Four, really the film makers want to make this a realistic and gritty movie as possible but decides to go with the same type of title that 90's Image comics would of used? Yeah, yesterday the trailer dropped and my thoughts on it are as follows: eh. That's really all I have to say about it, it doesn't look bad but it doesn't look good, which I kind of feel sorry for the movie at this point, I mean say what you want about the Ant-Man trailer but it did give some sense of it being a superhero movie and something somewhat unique, this was just a generic trailer for a generic sci-fi movie that's chasing the popularity of Interstellar.

My thoughts on the movie overall is that I don't want to see it, I might wind up seeing it on demand or something like that, but really I think it's going to suck, and call me some whiny Marvel fan boy who wants to see Marvel get the movie rights to all their comics, I'm not, I liked X-Men First Class and from what I heard Days of Future's Past is amazing, so Fox is good with the X-men, and despite Amazing Spiderman 2 not doing so good, I am still interested seeing what Sony is going with the Wall Crawler, but with the Fantastic Four.....they're making Doctor Doom into an anti-social computer programmer, and the actor playing him said that fans would be upset that his name wouldn't be Victor Von Doom but Victor Domishev, which I call B.S. I'm cool with the name change but a computer programmer, Doctor Doom, I understand that you have to change a character's origin or backstory to make it fit in an adaptation, but what about Doctor Doom screams anti-social, if you didn't want to make him king of his own country why not make him something like a guy who has a cult of personality about him and make him kind of like Anonymous taken to the extreme where he feels that the only way to fix the worlds problems is by having him be the ruler, there I just made a better change to Doctor Doom's character than what professional writers and directors did, and that's really the main problem I have with the movie, Doctor Doom, it's that one thing that ruins something that most people would say is no big deal until they finally realize that it is, I mean, the cast they got for it is pretty solid, sure they're young but so was the Fantastic Four in the Ultimate Universe, and the thing with the guy playing Human Torch being black, I don't care, Michael B. Jordon is a good actor it's not like they casted Chris Brown to play Johnny. The only other real problem is that the director told the cast to ignore the source material, why, imagine if the directors of the Harry Potter movies or the Hunger Games movies, or any of the Marvel movies said that and decided to make major creative changes to the point where it's an adaptation in name only so if the film makers aren't going to care about this being a Fantastic Four movie, why should we?

Look, if you want to see this movie and expect it to be good, more power to you, I'm just venting my frustrations about this movie, and if you wind up liking Fantastic Four, good for you, you found something you enjoy, if you don't like it, sorry, if you expect the movie to suck but wind up liking it, again, good for you but if you expected to suck and wind up hating the movie because it sucked, what did you expect, that's why I'm not going to see it in theatres cause at least I wont contribute to its success when it makes money in the box office.
